You should know some programming; Perl 5 is fine or any other "scripting" language like Python, Ruby or Lua. I've given similar presentations at past YAPCs and even OSCON, so you're in experienced hands. Be sure to bring your Internet-ready laptop, the latest version of Perl 6 and your boundless curiosity.
In the morning we'll cover the basics of what's changed between Perls 5 and 6, and after a break for lunch we'll dive in and build a modern Perl 6 web application that you'll be able to deploy to CPAN with one command.
